Industry Changes 2024
In December 2023 the decision was made to ban Engineered Stone in Australia from July 1, 2024. A further meeting will be held in March 2024 regarding the importation of stone, however some suppliers have ceased importing stone due to the upcoming ban.
What does this mean?
All In Stone Benchtops will continue to offer engineered stone benchtops for jobs with an installation date prior to July 2024 however we advise coming in and seeing our friendly staff for a quote early so we may secure your stone selection. Natural Granite/Quartzite and Marble are not included in the ban so we will continue to offer these products.
New products
We have had information from several of our stone suppliers including Smartstone, Lithostone, Caesarstone and Quantum Quartz that they will be offering 0% silica alternatives, we will provide updates on these as we receive further information.
